It gives me immense pleasure to share with you that “Tata Shaktee” the leading steel roofing brand has been awarded the ‘Superbrand 2011-12’ status. “Superbrands” is a concept that originated in the UK in 1993, to chronicle case studies of exceptional brands, to pay tribute to them . It recognizes the efforts to build brands that are strong on consumer perceptions, making them more resilient to fluctuating economic conditions. In each country that Superbrands operates in, it elects a Superbrands Council, which usually comprises industry experts and practitioners, which selects the top brands under various categories and awards them the status of "Superbrands”. Brands are invited to participate in the Superbrands project based on the following criteria: market dominance, longevity, goodwill, customer loyalty and market acceptance. In its 10th edition, Superbrand India has awarded the Superbrand status to 86 brands across various industries & sectors.
On 6th December 2012, in a grand show organized at the Grand Hotel in Vasant Vihar, New Delhi Mr Sanjay S Sahni, Chief Sales Manager (North) and Mr Satyajit Maity, Head Marketing (D&BP, FP) have received the award from the chief guest Hon’ble Corporate Affairs Minister Mr Sachin Pilot and Mr. Steve Smith, Chairman & Managing Director, Superbrands Worldwide Limited.
With this coveted title “Tata Shaktee” has once again proved that it has achieved new height of success due to its strong presence among the consumer minds and its continuous endeavor & consistent efforts to serve consumers better & better. This achievement came in this particular year 2012 when the brand has also touched its 2 million ton land mark.
Hundreds of leading Indian brands were evaluated by the esteemed Superbrands Council and 86 of the highest scoring brands were then designated as Superbrands. Only brands that achieved the level of recognition set by the independent Superbrands Council were eligible for inclusion in the Superbrands India book, which traces the history and achievements of each of the brands. Mr. Sachin Pilot, Hon’ble Minister of State for Corporate Affairs was the chief guest at the tribute event. While wishing Superbrands on its tenth anniversary the Hon’ble Minister hoped that with Superbrands doing yeoman service for corporate India brand development would get a fillip and companies would pay heed to the need to wean people away from commodity buying to brand buying.
“Tata Shaktee” has achieved several milestones while serving millions of its consumers across the years, the brand will continue to bring innovations to benefit its consumer & recognition will follow to appreciate its efforts.
